Digestion Mix



A natural supplement with prebiotics and a unique herb blend to support the horse digestive system

Formulated as a nutritional aid to digestive processes in horses.

Digestion Mix contains:

    • Xylitol
      Xylitol is a prebiotic and a component of cartilage. Xylitol is safe and beneficial to horses but toxic to dogs. Please keep this supplement away from your dogs.
    • Brewer’s Yeast
      Brewer’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a yeast and is the source of various vitamins and minerals.
    • Calcium
      Calcium is a mineral which, if deficient, can cause problems such as weak bones and menstrual problems.
    • Rooibos
      Flavonoids, such as Aspalathin (unique to Rooibos) and other components of Rooibos have been shown to have many health advantages.
    • Chamomile
      Chamomile is a herb which soothes and helps to maintain a calm and focused attitude.
    • Fenugreek
      Fenugreek soothes the digestive system, aids appetite and helps with conditioning.
    • Mint
      Mint is recommended for horses that have delicate digestive systems.
    • Turmeric
      Turmeric has been found to support a healthy digestive system.
    • Solidago
      Native Americans used Solidago to help with upset stomachs.
    • Diatomaceous Earth
      Diatomaceous Earth is thought to help maintain digestive balance.
    • Black Pepper
      Black pepper contains Piperine, which assists in the absorption of Curcumin (the active ingredient in Turmeric).

Analytical constituents:

  • Crude Protein (14.6%)
  • Crude Fibre (7%)
  • Crude Ash (5.66%)
  • Crude Oils and Fats (3%)
  • Moisture Content (6.61%)
  • Calcium (80000 mg/kg)


One scoop (15g) per day.  One 500 g bag will last one horse four weeks.

  • Safe for pregnant or lactating mares and for foals.

  • Discontinue immediately at any sign of an adverse reaction.
  • NB: Do not feed to dogs. Xylitol is safe for horses, but toxic to dogs.
